In their first ever collaboration, brands Herman Miller and Hay take on Eames classics, newly crafting them in a fresh set of 7 vibrant colourways. Mette Hay, co-founder of Hay, wanted to infuse colour into this collection as an homage to Ray Eames’ painters eye and Alexander Girard’s world of boundary pushing colours.
The tactile glass is a highlight of this collection—fusing colour, shape, and light for visually interesting design scheme. In place of the classic painted wood balls, the Eames hang-it-all now features cast-glass balls, while the Eames dining and LTR tables feature cast-glass tops. Fresh Eames wire chairs in the 7 vibrant colourways. Hay have added molded plastic shells as seating options with 100% post-industrial recycled plastic.
