Water Based Cleaner: Spot clean using only the foam from a water-based cleaning agent such as a mild detergent or non-solvent upholstery shampoo product. Apply foam with a soft brush in a circular motion. Vacuum when dry.

I respected the care instructions, I washed it at gentle machine wash cold and now the fabric at both ends of the runner is undone, it seems to be missing a seam at the ends or it should be washed by hand.
