I’ve been using circular cork trivets as placemats for a few years now, love them because they are so easy to clean and durable. Was looking for something more “official” for when I had guests and stumbled across these. Loved that they fit the theme. They are a little thinner than I was anticipating, given that I was used to the thickness of trivets, but that doesn’t detract from the quality. I love the organic, natural feel of them and the fact that any food can just rinse right off. Always get questions about them. Will report back if they begin to wear.

These are much thicker and better made than other cork placemats I’ve tried. (Mine say “made in Portugal” rather than “made in China” as the website notes, so maybe there are different versions?)

Packaging is nice and minimalist and easy to recycle.
