Water Based Cleaner: Spot clean using only the foam from a water-based cleaning agent such as a mild detergent or non-solvent upholstery shampoo product. Apply foam with a soft brush in a circular motion. Vacuum when dry.

I love this but it is tiny. I use it to put red pepper flakes in to use at the table. You would have to refill it almost everyday if you used it for sugar.
