  • Peter Tielmann, EQ3 Founder, President & CEO of Palliser Furniture

    Peter Tielmann is the President & CEO of Palliser Furniture, the largest residential furniture manufacturer in Canada and parent company of EQ3, which Tielmann founded in 2001. EQ3 was born out of Peter’s vision to build on Palliser’s strong tradition of craftsmanship, attention to detail and customization, and deliver these qualities to customers seeking clean, modern designs. Peter holds a degree in Architecture, and a graduate degree in Business Economics, both from Germany. He is a member of the Manitoba Business Council and serves on several boards, including the Michaëlle Jean Foundation and the International Institute for Sustainable Development.


  • Mark Letain, President

    Mark Letain, EQ3’s President, has been with the company for fourteen years, starting as General Manager for Upholstery. In his time at EQ3, he has worked with every department, from sales to shipping, design to marketing. He is a passionate advocate for Canadian design and is dedicated to developing products that are thoughtful in every aspect, from design to manufacturing, to shipping. Mark is a native of Ontario, and currently lives in Winnipeg, where he is an avid mountain biker and jujitsuka.


  • Dennis Liu, Chief Financial Officer

    Dennis Liu is EQ3’s Chief Financial Officer, where he helps execute the strategic vision of the company through financial planning, HR best practices, risk management, networking, and collaborative decision making. With 10+ years of experience and technical knowledge in the retail & manufacturing industry, he is committed to help streamlining and improving the value proposition for EQ3’s customer base. Dennis lives and operates out of Winnipeg and divides his time outside of work between family, travelling and sports.


  • Enri Tielmann, Chief Design Officer

    As Chief Design Officer at EQ3, Enri Tielmann has been responsible for shaping the design vision of EQ3’s product development and collaborations for the past 10 years. Functionality, elegance, craftsmanship and customization are key pillars of Enri’s design philosophy and are also integral elements across all of EQ3’s product categories, including casegoods, accessories, and upholstery. Enri is currently based in EQ3’s Winnipeg HQ, but originally hails from Germany.


  • Anna Payne, VP of Retail

    As VP of Retail, Anna Payne oversees all EQ3 brick-and-mortar stores and the expansion into the U.S. She has more than 20 years of retail experience, all focused on furniture and home accessories. Throughout her retail career, she’s learnt that success starts with identifying and hiring top talent, then developing and motivating them to perform at the highest-level. A resident of New York City, Anna is passionate about interior design, food and fashion.


  • Jill Winograd, Chief Merchandising Officer

    Jill Winograd has worked for EQ3 for over 15 years and, as EQ3’s Chief Merchandising Officer, currently leads the development and execution of strategies to optimize product and sales performance. Outside of work, Jill is active in the Winnipeg community leadership as an alumnus of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference and previous community service work with the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, United Way and Jewish Federation. Jill is based in Winnipeg and is an avid hockey fan, recreational soccer player and wannabe cooking show host.
